    Howdy!

I started in the Beginners as I am yet to paint a kit but I keep looking at the photos of the MG GM Sniper ii and know that I have to try and paint it as the stock colours are whack! haha

    Here goes nothing…

I am excited to unveil my plan for the competition…

    Short Version
1/100 MG GM Sniper II + 1/144 HGBF GM Sniper K9 = Father + Son learning to shoot.

    Long Version
In anticipation of the release of the MG GM Sniper ii I got hold of a HGBF GM Sniper K9 as a warm up build…I have just started snap-building him on the weekend and can see that he actually seems to also have all of the parts of a regular GM Sniper ii in addition to the K9 variant parts (awesome!). Got me to thinking, hmm I could build him to look like the new MG…got me to thinking about the two scales 1:144 & 1:100 stood next to each other and *DING* I could see an image of them stood together, MG with his hand on the lil HGs shoulder reassuring him and saying something like “no son, try holding your rifle with your hand like mine” mwahaha. We shall see.

Not sure how far I am going to take it but over the last couple of years I have slowly been building up my tools and some option parts so excited to see how far the kits take me.

I have been building gunpla for a while now and built a stack of HGs and 3 MGs but never actually gone “all the way” and modded/painted one yet (1st victim Marasai is on sticks at the mo ready for priming) – with work commitments and a 2.5 year old + an 8 month pregnant missus, finding the time to setup, build/paint fumes…blah – so many excuses, I have spent more time researching models + techniques then actually doing it haha.

I would like to use this comp to push me to complete something, and contribute to a community that I have spent so much time reading/watching/droolling on, BRING IT ON!
