Hi,
So here is a description of the work done so far.

1. Oerlikons 20mm AA guns – each of these little guns consists of 6 PE and brass parts. At first I almost gave up, but luckily found a method to build them without losing my mind in the process, so they are now done. Additionaly, Pontos provides ammo boxes to place around the gun nests, you can see the resin gun nest parts in the pictures.

2. The POM POM AA guns consists each of 23 PE and brass parts, and uses some plastic parts that need to be shaped and cut. It was a challenge to build, but lots of fun. I worked on all four of them methodically.

3. The life boats and airplane were done at this stage, each is a little kit, some require surgery on the plastic parts. I prefer to finish the repetitive assemblies before going to the more unique parts of the model.

4. The deck plastic details were removed as per the instructions, so I will be able to replace them later on with PE parts.

5. The gun turrets are made of the base plastic body, on which resin PE and brass are added as the pictures show.

6. Lastly, the wood deck was prepared for construction later on.
