Hi,
Real life got to me, so I didn’t build anything in the last 8 months.. Fortunately it seems that life is getting stable again, so I decided to build something challenging, that sat on my shelf for a couple of years.

Not 1/700 this time, but the HMS Warspite in 1/350 by Academy, with the Pontos amazing detail set.

I still don’t have too much room for this size of model, but I want a centerpiece for my collection and I really like this ship.

The Academy model is very impressive, and has already lots of details. The Pontos set however is a real test for PE work, and includes a couple of intensive PE frets, brass gun barrels and mast rods, resin parts to replace the 20mm AA gun nests and additional details, a wooden deck, and some dry transfer deals. The instructions are a bit lacking, but some times ago I managed to get a PDF of them, so it will help a lot.
