this is kind of hard to answer as they’re 2 different size scales. RG exia is great, i’ve built it. i haven’t built the MG Exia (Ignition) which is in my backlog but it’s the same as the first release MG Exia with repair parts and i heard there were issues of inherent loose leg joints due to the design of articulation (too much articulation apparently). i’m thinking that painting the inner frame would hopefully solve the MG issue but i can’t guarantee that. i would decide based on what size scale you prefer or budget since the price point is different too. do you collect 1/144 mainly or 1/100? if anything, you can’t go wrong with the RG Exia.

Thank you, ive decided on the RG, i had heard someone mention the MG’s loose legs but if its a recurring problem id rather the size down. As to price in Canada i have yet to see an RG worth less than 40$(which is ridiculous) but the 20$ to the MG wouldnt have been too bad. Either way thanks for the info.

Yeah, RG hands down. Better detail and more stable. MG is unstable as hell.
