Hey guys, I was thinking of building a custom Sinanju, but I need a left handed trigger finger that would match that of the 1/144 HGUC Sinanju’s right one. Anyone have recommendations on what I should look at?

    • You could try the 1/144 fully poseable hands. Here is are links to them at HLJ:
      http://www.hlj.com/product/YLSPPC-TN85/Sci
      http://www.hlj.com/product/YLSPPC-T94/Sci
One is for square ones, the other for round hands.
Hope this is of some help

    • You could also try the builder’s parts hands. They’re static poses, but they have an open hand, closed hand, and trigger finger hand. They’re really nice looking, and come in styles for zeon and federation style MS, as well as small and large versions for both 1/144th and 1/100 scale. When i say they’re nice looking though, i mean they’re nice looking. very detailed. They also give you enough parts to make 2 sets of each hand. So you enough for 2 kits worth of hands(6 if you decide to go that route). the biggest draw back they suffer from, is a hand for holding non firearm weapons. Sure you could stick the beam saber into a trigger finger hand, but it looks so bad with that one finger sticking out like that.

Those hobby base hands are nice, but they’re one size, so if it’s a large MS, the hands will be small, and obviously large if the MS is small. The fingers need to be loosened quite a bit before assembling them to rest of the hand. If you don’t, the connection to the knuckle will stretch, or break, leaving you only the option to glue them in place. even then, they can randomly have this issue. They’re nice looking, though not as detailed as the builder’s parts hands. The problems with them, besides what i previously mentioned, there are no spares, so if you lose one of those knuckle joints, you’re done(they are VERY tiny), as it’s only the one set. They give you a pair of closed fist hands, but this creates another problem of it’s own. the closed fists, and poseable hands only have one back hand piece in common. so if you ever want to use the closed fists, you have to use the piece they have in common, even though you may like the other option more.

Overall both are good. But if you’re plan involves just a trigger finger hand, and considering that it’s a Sinanju, you’re better off using the Builder’s Parts hands.
