The RG Group 8 years, 4 months ago ok folks i got a wacky idea that bounced into my head and ive been giving it some serious thought. I want to take the RG Zaku and bash it with the HG Gouf custom, http://www.hlj.com/product/BAN965503/Gun I don’t know if i would call it a bash per se. im just looking to make a highly detailed RG quality Gouf so i will be trying to mod the HG armor onto the RG frame. Lemme know what u guys think of the project or just toss me any tips or tricks when it comes to modification since i have never tried anything like this before.

Its a interesting project. You could call it a sneak peak into the RG that is yet to come. Legs should be a fairy simple job. From the looks you could leave the RG feet. Hands should be a little more tricky. The way the Gouf are made it hard for me to figure out how to make sliding armor effect.
I wish you luck with the project. Just remember messure 4 times before cutting. And even then mesure once again ^^
You may end up having to sacrifice sone of the sliding panels but it should be doable for the most part, especially if you’re planning to keep the same arms used on the HG.
Could be an interesting project. Would like to see work in progress.

I’m currently working on a project combining an RG Zaku with an HGUC XekuEins. It’s tough!!
good luck with the project. keep in mind that the torso of the zaku & the gouf custom is different. might have a hard time connecting the leg of the other to the hips & torso of the other since the RG has its own inner frame. keep us posted with your project. 🙂
