New Plamo Arrivals For April 15, 2022

This week the newest plamo includes Gundam Asmodeus! We’ve also got new Kyoukai Senki, Ultraman, and Mashin Hero Wataru kits on deck. Plus, two new Gundam prize figures – they may not be model kits, but the are pretty cool. Check them all out below!

If any kits in this post are backordered when you read this, don’t worry — Bandai is great about restocking periodically. But, you’ll want to get your order in to secure a spot in line for the next restock!

Gundam

HG Gundam Asmodeus

Gundam Asmodeus from “Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans Urzu Hunt” gets a model kit for the first time! In addition to new exterior parts, its characteristic shape is reproduced by partly new construction of the Gundam frame. The gimmick of the claw on the sole of each foot is expressed  by parts replacement, as is the expansion and contraction of the Gran Tonfa on its arms. Its Gigant Javelin anchor gimmick uses a lead wire for posability; a rifle can be mounted on its rear skirt and the back thruster is movable.

The Figure-rise Standard Ultraman Suit Taro ACTION plastic model kit is here! Multiple joints have been added to the chest and waist areas to create an unrivaled range of motion so the user can enjoy tons of dynamic poses! Effect parts based on the signature flames is also included. The abdomen parts can be selected from two different types: the type that emphasizes movement or a type that can be equipped with LEDs (sold separately).

Mashin Hero Wataru

PLAMAX MS-17 Second Gun with Third Gun Parts

From “Mashin Hero Wataru” comes a PLAMAX plastic model kit of the boss of Soukaizan’s first layer piloted by Cruising Tom, Second Gun! It can also be displayed in flight mode if so desired and parts to recreate the Third Gun seen in the magical area between the sixth layer and seventh layer areas is also included!

Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.
