The Harry Potter Hogwarts Express arrives in Japan, and you can experience a snow-filled fantasy at Lazona Kawasaki Plaza
In celebration of the 20th anniversary of “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” (2001), “Harry Potter: A Christmas in a Magical World at LAZONA” will be held at Lazona Kawasaki Plaza in Kanagawa Prefecture. A giant installation of the Hogwarts Express will be installed, and visitors can experience the world of the film, as well as many Harry Potter goods.
The giant Hogwarts Express installation, which made a splash at Singapore’s Changi Airport for a limited time in 2018-2019, has landed in Rufa Square for the first time in Japan. The giant 10-meter-long, 10-meter-wide installation at Rufa Square will allow visitors to experience the world of the film, including the Hogwarts Express and the streetscape of Hogsmeade Village.

In addition, on Sunday, December 13, 19, 20, 24 and 25, 2020, at 2pm, 4pm and 6pm on each day, snow will fall on Rufa Square set to the music used in the Harry Potter series, creating a “snow magic” effect. This is meant to re-create some of the magic from the movie which features many Christmas scenes.
There will also be a variety of collaboration goods that will be limited to this event.
The collaboration products will be on sale at LAZONA Kawasaki Plaza & mall in advance.
Customers who purchase more than one collaboration product will receive an “original eco-bag” as a present on a first-come, first-served basis. And they are limiting everybody to one per person so everyone can get this Harry Potter loot.
The sale will run from Friday, November 20, 2020 to Sunday, November 29, 2020.

There will also be a Panel Exhibition from all Harry Potter movies and The Fantastic Beast ones, too!
The “Wizarding World” of “Harry Potter” (8 films) and “Fantastic Beasts” (2 films) will be on display, along with collaborative products.
