Gunpla TV – Episode 381 – New Arrivals for October 23, 2020

This episode is Baund to be a good one! This week, we received the last Bandai Hobby releases for October: the ones we’ve been looking forward to all month.

The HG Baund Doc is here! With its large proportions and unique colors this is sure to be an interesting kit. Also, from Gundam Wing, comes the Gundam Heavyarms to join the previously-released Sandrock in the HGAC lineup!

But that’s not all. We’ve also got new Metal Slug X model kits, waifu naifus, melty masking tape, and Gundam scissors to show off as well!

In this episode:
1/144 HGAC Gundam Heavyarms
1/144 HGUC NRX-055 Baund Doc
Metal Slug X 6 kinds of Assorted Boxes
1/24 HEXA GEAR GOVERNOR EX Armor Type: Quetzal (Reissue)

Gundam Craft Scissors Char Aznable Model
Gundam Craft Scissors Zeon Model
Modeler’s Penknife CT001
Modeler’s Penknife CT002
Melt Pattern Masking Sticker S (3pc)
Melt Pattern Masking Sticker M (3pc)

If any kits in this post are backordered when you read this, don’t worry — Bandai is great about restocking periodically. But, you’ll want to get your order in to secure a spot in line for the next restock!

Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  2. Those cute little Metal Slug kits are to die for! Such nostalgia, makes me want to play the games again! And love that Baund Doc of course, such a huge box, I’m guessing the completed kit will be slightly smaller than a standard MG kit, going by its stats. Can’t wait to see you build it! 😀

  3. Technically speaking, if you refer to the ‘EW’ (Endless Waltz) version these days, it’s referring to the version from the manga Glory of the Losers. Bandai has been sticking to the ‘EW’ versions via MG and RG, whereas the ‘TV” versions have been kept to the HGAC. I presume that will continue and Bandai will make an HGAC XXXG-01H2 Gundam Heavyarms Custom (TV) as well as HGAC MMS-01 Serpent (TV); probably both via Premium Bandai.

Of course I remember Anna and how big of a fan she is of the ‘Wing’ series.

No worries. I also prefer the ‘EW’ designs more. I like that the designs, and the fact that they’re MGs. I’m not a fan of decals though.
