Starwing Paradox Solidea Unboxing

Starwing Paradox: XZM-011 Solidea

Kotobukiya brings the big guns with its new kit of the Solidea from Starwing Paradox!

If you’ve never heard of it, Starwing Paradox is an arcade game by Square Enix, with animation by Sunrise. (And you know what other mecha Sunrise is responsible for…!) I guess it’s only natural that we were all pretty impressed here at the office by the style of this mech when the kit came in. And we knew it needed a review.

Check out the box contents with us below, and be sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel so you see the review as soon as it’s live! We also recommend dropping your email address to get a weekly .tv digest, with all our content in one place.

The Box

Only one side of the box is a looker. Like Bandai, we get a simple from and back view of the completed kit. We also get a look at the weapon gimmicks on the right, which include a pretty cool clear part that I can’t wait to see in action!

Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.
