SD Cross Silhouette Phoenix Gundam Unboxing

SD Gundam Cross Silhouette Phoenix Gundam

We got a lot of great new plamo in stock at the tail end of last week, but only one Gunpla: this little guy, the Cross Silhouette Phoenix Gundam! It may be an SD, but the Cross Silhouette line is nothing to bat an eye at. With its SD or CS frame options, it brings a level of customization to the table you won’t see in most SD style plamo!

The Box

Starting on the left side of the box, we get a look at the Bird Form transformation option, the eye sticker options we see in most SD kits, and an overview of the kit built on the SD frame.

Moving down the box, we get more poses on the SD frame and a look at the weapons that are included.

On the right end, a quick look at the CS frame version of the build.

The other side of the box gives us an SD-sized background of the kit and shots of the completed model from the front and back, on the SD frame.

Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  1. Ooooh clear effect parts in an SD and its own base. Hope to see clear beam parts become a standard going forward. Kinda tempted by this kit…
