Gunpla TV – MG Gundam Kyrios

From “Gundam 00,” Bandai brings us their newest Master Grade: the Gundam Kyrios! This kit features great articulation as well as a number of trick features including a flight form. With an inner frame and fantastic color separation, this kit truly holds up to what is to be expected from a Master Grade kit. If you are reading this you probably already have one on order — but if not definitely check out this episode and get your order in today!

In this episode:

Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  1. This MG kit outshines the original 1/100 in every way. I wouldnt even hesitate between the two, this one is loads better.

  2. Look at him sway those hips! Nice articulation on the waist, and overall even because of the transformation bits, I really like transformable kits! And love the look of flight mode, sleek yet hefty, haha!

  3. Wish Bandai didn’t have to take over a decade to bring these 00 MG kits. They still have to make Virtue and then again the ones from the 2nd season. T_T

      • I hope their intentions are to at least make:
        – GN-001 Gundam Exia (Roll Out)
        – GN-001 Gundam Exia (Ver. 2.0)
        – GN-001 Gundam Exia (Ver. 2.0) (Trans Am)
        – GN-005 Gundam Virtue (w/ GN-004 Gundam Nadleeh)
        – GN-005 Gundam Virtue [Trans Am]
…and then move on to S2 (making updated versions for Setsuna’s mobile suits as well), and then the movie (making updated versions for Setsuna’s mobile suit as well)

  4. I like the chest and the head. Only the black backpack looks a bit cheap compared to the rest.

  5. 4:43 You mean 180° angle?
15:52 MG GN-005 Gundam Virtue is obviously next. Hopefully that release includes GN-004 Gundam Nadleeh, and also hopefully we get a Trans-Am version. In addition, what I’d like (as with others probably) is an updated MG GN-001 Gundam Exia that utilizes the ‘GN Frame’ that these recent MG 00 kits use. If we do get an updated GN-001 Gundam Exia, they could do a Premium Bandai release in its ‘Roll Out’ colors and a new ‘Trans-Am’ version.
