Gunpla TV – Kotobukiya’s Ludens

Kotobukiya brings us a model kit of Ludens, Kojima Productions’ flagship character! She comes with a pre-painted, flagged spear with the Kojima Productions logo. Katsuhiko Hori — the sculptor of the Frame Arms Girls Gorai, Laetitia, and Hatsune Miku kits — is responsible for this figure’s design and this collab is a must-build!

Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  1. I know people are fans of Kojima, but is it just me that thinks this is a little extra? Selling a Waifu Variant of your company logo/mascot? And making it, in fairness, a very high quality looking kit? It feels kinda bizarre. Like if the Nesquik Bunny got a $350 collectors statue or something…

  2. What a fabulous figure, cute too! Wish more companies had flagship characters as cute as her! Great detailing on the armor in particular, really making me want her now! XD

  6. Nice to see that this kit has a fully clothed variant, and that skull face is beautiful.

    • Ay Veemon24, don’t be so evil. That thingie may scare all the boys away. Not thingie, she has a name called “Ludens”. I haven’t figured out what is it mean yet. Maybe you and Anna could shine some insight if you two know something we don’t know? I think we have met here somewhere before. You do sculpting with some kind of putty to fix a missing piece from an eBay purchase? I could not remember what was it about. Sorry if I have mistaken you as someone else. You know as we all grow old, our memories start to diminish from time to time. Nyeh, heh heh heeeeeeh

  8. Is that an astronaut outfit? There are so many tubes. Are those tubes for oxygen? The skull mask looks a little bit scary. What is it for? The Angel of Verdun? Scarface? Terminator 3? Yes, the Laetitia was up before a little while ago. Dave was doing it at home. The Ryuu-bi one? I have seen another Ryuu-bi. Nice works. It is a little difficult to sort out all the video. As it is not sorted with numbers now.
