HLJ Model Club Vol. 3

We’re back with a very quick update from the model club this week!

Social distancing reigns king this week — though staff members were encouraged to participate, participants were few and (literally) far between as they sat spaced out in the lunch room to build their kits.

There wasn’t much photography this week, either — but there was one big-ticket item that got a lot of love: the Solar Coalescence Super Mini Pla Sun Vulcan of the World, which made its debut at the club this week.

Also, snacks. Always snacks.

That’s it for the week! Thanks for joining me for this quick update.

I’m curious, though — what are your favorite things to eat (snacks or otherwise!) while you’re working on a kit? Let me know in the comments!
I personally have a hard time snacking — even if I have something nearby, I usually forget it’s there because I’m so focused on building!

Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  1. I try to keep snacking and kits seperate ever since one fateful pizza day where I got a mouthful of clipped off runner that had hidden itself in the melted cheese.

    • Oh no! I didn’t consider this possibility!

      • Neither did I. Luckily it was only a very small sliver of runner and given every other direction it could have flown off in, I was just exceptionally unlucky. =/
