Haropla Zakrello Haro Unboxing

A new Haropla has appeared — the Haropla Zakrello Haro is here! Molded in yellow, this little Haro has thrusters(?) on the bottom to give him a boost, and… blade arms. Best of all, the design of the box is somehow retro-looking, which goes really well with the color scheme of the kit!

Let’s get to it!

The Box

Bandai only dedicates one slim side of the box to a preview of the kit, but there’s a lot going on here! The heart tattoo is highlighted, as is the articulation in the blade arms. We also get a look at the Haro behind the Haro — Bandai specifically shows off what the inside of the model looks like when you remove the cute exterior.

The Runners

A1: Red, yellow

A2: Yellow, blue

B1: Yellow

B2: Light brown

And some stickers and poly caps. The stickers here are mainly to cover the arm blades, which may be better off painted since they’re such large surfaces. The other detail stickers, though, would be hard to replace with paint unless you’re a pro.

What do you think of this new iteration of Haro?

Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  1. These are great for army building, you do not want to underestimate an armed Haro. Now we just need a RX-78-2 variant of Haro for the 40th anniversary.

  2. I just wish the stickers for the scythe arms weren’t, Y’know, stickers. Still, soon as the festive season has done draining my resources, I need to pick up at least two maybe three of these. Two for display, one for a pokemon themed custom… No prizes for guessing which.
