The latest “Re:Rise” kit just arrived at the warehouse: the HGBD:R Gundam Seltzam! Its unique design features an oversized articulated arm — the Seltsam Arm (very creative, of course) — and a big ol’ lance-like weapon called the Hyper Destlance.
The Box
Those very two characteristic features are shown off here on one side of the box. You can see that the Seltzam arm even has extendability that makes it just about as long as the Gundam itself. There’s also a shield, but Bandai’s not really talking about that because, compared to a massive lance and crazy arm, what’s a shield, anyway?
The other half of the box shows some optional configurations: the Folding Destlauncher can be built, and you can combine the Seltzam with the Injustice Weapons for even more possibilities!

And the poly caps and just a couple of small stickers. There’s a lot of extra plastic on the edges of these poly caps… We’re hoping it’s just the kit we ended up with, and not representative of them all. At least this is only apparent on the poly caps, and not the more visible parts of the kit!

I do appreciate that the long arm has symmetrical fingers at the ends. You can probably get one more of this kit and make a truly long arms mech.

I like the Zelly, but not as much as I like his one weirdo arm. Probably would want to get a pair of the option kits with the arm… Though, trying to make a symmetrical pair of Zellies could be fun…
