Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  3. I want to get the Heine Westenfluss Destiny Gundam the orange looks good on that design. Heine Westenfluss and Miguel Aiman from Gundam Seed in Japanese are both voiced by Takanori Nishikawa a.k.a. T.M. Revolution and orange is his personal Mobile Suit color. The orange Destiny Gundam is featured on the cover of his X42S Revolution album which has all of his music used in Gundam Seed and Seed Destiny including an original song Imaginary Ark.

  4. Didn’t even know Bandai did Digimon model kits. Bet they won’t do Tamers any time soon. Crimson Mode Gallantmon / Dukemon would be just as striking as either of these chaps. Feels like Tamers isn’t fondly remembered in Japan.

  8. the mewtwo looks great but i feel that the color will leave serious nub marks, and the hi res god gundam is in steroids which is awesome ! 🙂

    • The Pokemon kits are usually made to pop off the runners without nippers, so nub marks usually aren’t an issue. I’ll be building the kit for a text post pretty soon, and will be sure to keep an eye out for nub marks!

  21. I’ll be picking up the new Digimon kits for sure. I wonder what the intent is behind using the English dubbed name “Omnimon” for promotional material instead of the original “Omegamon” from the Japanese dub.

  22. I almost bought the old Omegamon kit years ago but every place that sold it at the time didn’t have it in stock. I definitely have to check out those upcoming new Digimon kits though.

  24. Those Digimon look interesting. Hope you will build one in the future. Also it would be interesting what the new Miku would be as a Figure-rise labo if it ever gets done.

  25. Figure-rise line of Digimons. Yay I’m really excited about it.
    D-arts Digimon figures were become extremely expensive and was limited hard to acquire.
    Now we can get hands on some affordable Digimon self making figures.

  31. Just to confirm, Omegamon is literally the Japanese name for Omnimon, so no, they are not different characters X’D
    Hoping for a MetalGarurumon, at some point, he’d look AWESOME in that style!
    FYI, the Valsione is an original mecha from the Super Robot Wars video game series, which looks like a giant woman clad in armour. The commenter was comparing it to the Ariel C-Type (who also follows that description), although could have maybe included a little more detail.
    RNG gods, I could really do with that 2000JPY about now… ^^;;;
