Gunpla TV – Episode 307 – Crusher Joe Fighter 1

It’s been a while since we featured a Hasegawa kit on this show and this month they have delivered the goods with their release of the Fighter 1 from the 80s anime/manga series “Crusher Joe”!  While most Hasegawa kits require glue this one comes molded in color and can be snapped together for an easy build as Todd shows!

In this episode:
1/72 Crusher Joe Fighter 1
PG 00 Gundam Seven Sword/G
1/144 HGBD Gundam Zerachiel

Level 75 Marketing Mage. Editor, admin, and occasional code monkey. Stand User in her free time. Though she does build kits when time allows, time doesn't allow often. Her favorite lines are Hasegawa's Mechatro WeGo line, Meng's World War Toons Pinky line, and weird miscellany like Platz's bonsai tree kits. In general, if it's a detailed miniature that's too small to be useful for anything other than taking up space, she'll probably love it.

  1. The ‘Gundam 00: A Wakening of the Trailblazer’ gunpla are in sore need of some Revive / GEP love, Bandai. I hope Zerachiel does not disappoint. Harute was badly backheavy, and the full transformation existing as the backpack took away from the MS itself, in my opinion.

Also, Figure-rise Standard Ayame release date is getting closer.

    And it’s getting closer.

  5. Way to go Todd, you’re half way there LoL…yes, couldn’t help myself 😋…anyway great show, I’m always glad to see that Lindsay is on point with the products and materials when it comes to this as well as everyone at HLJ which is really refreshing to see in the hobby 🤩…hopefully Bandai can start to release more kits instead of keeping them to the Premium site 🙄 since hard to get kits are a problem for many doing this hobby 😤, anyway keep up the good work 😉👍

  6. Sexy legs are nice and all, but they look better with a body attached, especially a torso – and that didn’t sound as dirty in my head before I wrote this XD

  10. For the Zerachiel is the same thing that they did for the reversible Gundam, take a transformable Gundam from 00 and add a tank mode.
Also, I’m a little anxious, how much does it take for a giveaway prize to be delivered, I won last week but I haven’t received anything yet.

  27. Hi Todd! If it’s not hard for you, when you will show us hg Gustav Karl model, put it next to any MG kit, for compare sizes. =)

  28. Hmm… bit of an uneventful episode. I’ll give it a Like just for you, Lindsay =D

Would help if you let us know where the Gundam Zerachiel came from, although I guess you’re saving it for later.

I would like to see some coverage of the Frame Arms kits sometime, since you appear to be short on Bandai content.

  49. Hello, 1/144 HGBD Gundam Zerachiel looks cool, but will probably be of the ones with the heavy backpack syndrom.. I’m not sur it can easily stand on his feets. Looks great, but i fear the backpack will be obstructig the articulations… Good luck for your PG Seven Sword g… Just seeing the legs kind of tells me that one will look awesome.

  50. i still feel that the 00 seven is a bit of a throw. bandai did the exia with the LEDs and open hatches and all, then they just threw a re-hashed kit at us after running out of ideas. BANDAI really needs to start making PG kits for the villain, it will be amazing to see what type of dioramas people come up with when given a proper scale to work with.
