  5. The Baselard was the first frame arms girl that I built and so she will always have a special place in my heart. Very impressed with the desktop army Baselard. When I first saw the series on the HLJ website, I thought that you would be getting a complete figure similar to the Gundam converge line and not something that would require some assembly. Thanks for the insightful review ^_^ As for the kittens that Lindsay found, will she or Scott be taking inspiration from the Neko Busou line and equipping them with some additional firepower lol ^_^

Nice to see you build. Now to complete my desired crossover we need The Todd to review a figure.

  15. Nendoroid does it again. I think I’m done collecting figures, and then they release something so cool, that I feel I’m going to need a new place just to store all of their figures. The Baselard figure is really cute too, wish I could win it.

  24. How do you choose which item to show each week? with the amount of figures arriving at the moment it would be great if you could add a few more items per episode if only just to show them in their box.

    Reply
    • We typically try to stick to items that we still have stock of so people interested in the item can order it themselves if they like. I’ll chat to David about showing off some other new arrivals though!

  70. The Desktop Army is definitely of interest to me. There has been a recent trend of Character action figure model kits from many model kit manufacturers, but some of those are probably a lot more intimidating to usual figure collectors. Having trading kits like these with small build elements in them definitely help bridge that skill gap and attract the 2 hobby demographics to check out one another’s.

  79. I recently bought my first Frame Arms Girl (not using the abbreviation for…..reasons)
from hlj. I choose one that was fairly light on the actual “arms part”. i wonder if i can use weapons from this to arm her up!

    Reply
    • They are pretty small, though majority of the 3 mm pegs still work. I’d suggest keepin an eye on places like ebay or trusted Frame arms and Megami Device pages for people who sell the weapons/armor. Outside of that There are options of M.S.G. parts too and some connector and weapon stuff from Busou Shinki.

      Hope this helps some.

  87. I love the DA girls. I wish the one they’d made into a FA Girl had the FA proportions, though.

    Reply
    • Well about that. You can mod a mms 3rd shinki neck after shortening it and using the neck ball from the DA kit. Mine turned out great, I just need more heads as I only have 1 Innocentia DA head.

  89. Never had a frame arms before, but this one looks nice, sorta tempted to start collecting these

    Reply
    • I can say the newer Frame Arms kits are very well made. The early releases from the first year all had some small issues easily fixed…minus the old wrist joints. Though recent years the wrists are more durable and there are also options for after market jointed areas to incorporate magnets!!!!!
I’d recommend any of their kits!
