This is my second RG kit. I really enjoyed working on it as the Freedom is one of my favorite Gundam designs.
It is mostly an OOB build. I only used some paint to highlight details like the tips of the cannons or cover scratches. I gave it the finishing touch by using some flat topcoat all over the pieces.
I was pretty happy with the result. The only complains I have are that the wings are a little too heavy for the kit, and most importantly, the 1/100 beam blades, which seem off to me due to their size. It got even worse when I discovered that the blades from the RG Strike are not compatible with the sabers of this Freedom, bleh.
That aside, this is a pretty cool model any gunpla enthusiast should try to get.
