It’s been 7 years since the 100th Master Grade came out, and now the Turn A’s eternal rival finally arrives as well!  For something different, here’s a look at the unbox of this much anticipated Gundam kit here on hobbylink.tv!

Fantastic cover art, with Loran lurking in the background.

The size of the box is about the same as most big Master Grades like the Geara Doga. At 6000 JPY, it’s a tad more than the average MG, but remember you get 20% discount at HLJ.com!

Lots of gimmicks shown on the side of the box.  The cockpit on the head that can open, lots of crazy limb attacks, and there’s a special stand just for it.

There’s lots to show off for almost every part.  And where’s Domon?

Great look at the unpainted kit out of the box, with lots of weapons, and that stand which gives us all sorts of crazy attacking possibilities.

When you crack open the box, you’ll see all the main colors: very light green, dark blue and grey.  Does anyone else miss the old MG inserts that sat on top of the plates?

Here’s a peek through the manual.

\for the highlight plates, there’s a great effect part, and it’s very cool to see a whole plate in clear black.

Here are the plates shown in alphabetical order.  They’re well molded all around.

Check out the colors on the main seals, and you’ll also get a sheet of scratch-ons.

Time for some final thoughts. As you saw on the box, this kit is full of gimmicks. However, from the manual, the building process seems to be pretty simple. But if the gimmicks and splitting apart is satisfying, will it matter? However,  since the body can separate in every way possible, will the combined kit be prone to falling apart?  From the unbox though, the mold details, and the size of some of the parts are all really exciting, so I can’t wait to see it all together, so please stick around!

All I can hear is the first words of OP1…

    • I’ve come to the point of withdrawal where I read every written gunpla review in Rrobbert184’s voice (not just the ones he makes)… It’s working so far.

      • That is exactly what I’ve been doing, but it’s just not the same. x.x
I’ve watched all of his videos now and I am out of things to do while building gunpla. His videos just motivate me to build more and keep going.
