The powered knight/samurai mecha, Durga II is here from Kotobukiya. Let’s see what’s inside the box!
Fun cover art, with some sharp looking armor. Don’t forget that underneath is the Frame Arms itself, which have been a lot of fun so far.
The box is a little bigger than a regular Master Grade Gundam from Bandai.
The price is 5400 JPY, but don’t forget you can get 20% off at HLJ.com!
The big red sword is going to get most of your attention on the side of the box.
When you crack open the box, you’ll see the all important inner frame, some nice clear plates in yellow and red, and tons of silver, which is befitting an armed knight.
The cover of the manual has a finished model photo, and an intro to the mech.
The building process doesn’t look too hard as the manual’s quite spaced out.
More story, but it’s the weapons I think that are eye catching here.
The official color guide is at the end. In black and white. Sigh.
But here you can see the plates in color, in alphabetical order.
Some final thoughts. I’ve enjoyed the Frame Arms line quite a bit, and specifically the knight/samurais that came before. From previous builds, we can already have a pretty good picture of its mobility, sculpt and everything else. But this powered samurai, with his new cool weapons and armor should be fun to see! So check it all put together in part 2! Thanks for reading everyone.
