The biggest Mazinger Z kit yet is here: the Mazinger Z Infinity Ver. by Bandai. The above photo doesn’t do the box justice, so here’s a better one:
At 1/60 scale it’s going to be pretty massive when completed — 43cm tall, that is! However, bear in mind: though it’s the same scale as a PG Gundam, it’s certainly not a perfect grade, as it’s not a very complex kit for its size.
We suspect this makes it an excellent kit for someone who wants to start building PGs, but isn’t quite ready to take the leap. Pick this bad boy up, and you can get used to the scale without worrying about the complexity!
There’s a whole lot to check out on the sides of the box. This one compares the kit to designs used for the film version of the mech which the kit is based on!
SHOCKING 1/60 scale!
The other side of the box is printed so you can read it if you stand the box vertically. And, the kit is shown in “actual size” along the side so you can get a real feel for how tall it is.
The Hover Plider, Iron Cutters, and LED functions are highlighted at the top.
More weapon gimmicks in the middle: Rocket Punch and Drill Missiles. So far, so good.
And finally at the bottom, the Jet Scrander, which features articulation that lets you pose it the way you want!
A: Red, clear red, clear, clear yellow
C: Grey x2
F: Grey w/ metallic finish
This isn’t any kind of chrome-like finish, but it definitely has a different appearance to it than the other runners, to make it look more realistic.
G: Grey w/ metallic finish x2
I: Red x2
L: Black x2
M: Purple x2
N: Purple x2
A separate J part, some tiny metal parts (a screw), foil stickers, and the LED.
2 whole polycap runners!
